More Impressive

Everyday Mommie gets more impressed by me...

For 3 days and 3 nights I have gone pottae out in the patio..
For 3 nights I have slept with Daddie and Mommine soundly between them

On our walks I have learned

Catch up.. which means if I stop and sniff, she says catch up I run and catch up with her and walk next to her..

I am starting to learn.. to stop and sit while a car goes by and also..
stop and wait.. when I get too ahead of mommie she tugs just alittle and I stop and wait till she catches up to me.....

Sometimes I impressive myself..

Hello all my followers!

Well.. I have been going along great!
I am learning every day and mommie is saying good girl like a trillion times each day.
I had a to go to the emergency vets sunday, mommie saw some blood in my pooopae, and she was really worried.
The vet checked me out and said I didn't have this or that, which she was happy about, but I had .....kdofeohfe.. mommie can't remember the big adult word.. but I am on medicine and good as any puppy can be...
I am learning new words and what they mean and I know if I am doing what the words mean when mommie or daddie says it, when mommie says good girl..
Words I know:
Nap.. which is very important
No... I get that alot
Come here.. just what it says
Drink.. means inside the house to get some water
Outside.. means go pottae
and more to go.... oh.. and sit.. I know what sit means..

Saturday, Grampa and Grammie were over and they brought my uncles over too!!!!!!!!
I had a blast with them.. although I really don't understand why they get so angry or frustrated when I jump up to try to kiss them.. they have such big mouths..more for me to kiss!

Another day

Well.. so far things have been going very well. Mommie still is taking photos almost every day.. she says she wants to capture that one shot and she will continue to take photos until she does...
Yesterday I spendt the day with my grampa and my uncles..they totally wore me out. I was like out for the rest of the day. Until 10pm.. man I just had to run around and play, but no... mommie was tired and wanted to go to bed.
So I calmed down and went to bed, ya know, just to keep her company. That is my job.
I jumped off the bed last night to do my biz.. I tried to wake up mommie but she was zonked.. So I _________________ (fill in the blank)..........
Now it was time to wake up Mommie.. it's 5 am and lets get up!!!!!!!!!!!!
She finally woke up and to her surprise I did something for her.
I rolled out the paper towels from the side of the bed and down the hallway..just to help her out to clean up my biz in the living room.. Hey, I got mommie the paper towels..it's like I can't clean it up all by myself.
So we did our normal routine today, cleaned house, played, napped ( I did while mommie worked )...

Ya know, Mommie will be taking tons, I mean tons, of photos of me.. I am kinda digging it, getting all that attention and love. But the 'tude of her voice when I start digging in that one spot, really needs to be adjusted.. geez mom..

I am know knowing that if I poop and pee in the patio instead of the house, I get a "GOOD GIRL" and I know that means, I have a 90% chance of getting a treat..
Speaking of treat.. mommie told daddie that when she went into publix that there was nothing for puppies.. nothing.. no teether stuff, toys, chews.. nothing.. zippppoooo..Mommie told daddie to get in touch with the people he knows and make that happen.. and I would be more then happy to test out the products and toys.. ;0)
This weekend it's me and mommie....alone.. together.. alone.. just me and mommie... PARTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... "ya right.. it's more like clean house, pick up poop Sunday, laundry, take you down to the park and feed the fishes, Bree..no party.. " Such a bummer, Mommie.. well, the park part sounds good..

Hello my Fans!

Well.. it was a pretty ruff day for mommie Wednesday night.. Daddie was snoring like you wouldn't believe and we went into Mommie's room to sleep on the day bed.. Of course Mommie woke up every hour to see if she didn't smother me under the covers, although I did ( mommie thinks ) rolled over and fell on the floor..So after that I went potty on the newspaper..She says I am doing very good about doing my little biz on the newspaper. I do make her proud.

Thursday was my first doc's appointment. I was a huge hit there. People just loved me. Mommie didn't know my real birthdate so the lady gave me one.. January 22, 2009 is now my birthday. She also forgot to bring my paperwork Daddie got at the market..Sometimes I really don't know if she has it all together, but I still love her and will love her and daddie all my life. ( Now I know what Daddie goes through!)

She took me on my first shopping trip..I am pretty comfortable in the car, well, umm.. ....... la la la la...
She took me to the pet store to get me a ball.. of course since I am a girl, Mommie picked out the pink ball, I am really not a pink kinda girl, mayb brown with pink dots, something like that, but solid PINK.. please...
I do like the new toys I got, one will help me with my teething..Mommie can't wait till that happens..;0)

One day, I woke up and one of my ears went straight up!



Okay.. this is cool.. then the next day I woke up and BOTH OF MY EARS WERE STRAIGHT UP!

Happy Saint Pattys Day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I shouldn't of held my breath and bragged about Bree not going potty in the house.. she christin' the house twice, yesterday. It's a good thing we have tile..
And this is expected and I should know that..
Still starting off the routine in the mornings.. although today is a rough start. She got sick on the bed.. not too bad, hense the reason why I am up now, Which again this is expected.. She is going to throw up, get bites, get hurt, scrapped, scratched, just like a kid.
I remember Kassie, which that slips from time to time, calling Bree Kassie.. now I think it was a wise choice to not get another golden.... Well, Kassie must of gotten bit by a spider, her face was so swollen, I mean like a balloon.. and it seems it really didn't effect her.. as I took her to the emergency room she still stuck her head out the window and smiled and wagged her tail..I still giggle about that..she looked so funny and so cute at the same time..she was only a couple of years old then..the swelling went down and she was back to her ole self..

I know I am going to have to get a job.. but not retail.. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
more like, maybe I will teach a class at home..or make a studio here at the house..
Who knows..

Anyway, When Don got home, after dinner we went for a walk.. I really wanted to show him how cute Bree was when she walked.. and sure enough.. she did the same thing..
Going to put up some videos today and more photos..
Maybe I can ask Don's Dad to make some tree mushrooms for the lot next door.. ????
That will be a great place to do some photography!!!!!!!!!!

Monday

The night went so so.. she ended up sleeping bewteen Don and I.. which is fine with us, for now.. ;0)
She did tell us that she had to go potty around 2:30am.. so I let her out and sure enough, she went potty..Then back to bed..
Before going to bed, we tried to get her to sleep in her bed.. but she was more interested in playing with herself in the mirror..We have mirror closet doors.. she was so funny.. going back and forth to each mirror and letting out her little bark.

Getting on the first day of routines..

Morning: potty and breakfast
Morning play: 20 mintues of play time outdoors
Morning nap: while mom or dad works
Morning walk..
Now this was so funny..

We got her a collar and a retractable leash..She was kinda hesitate at first.. and this is the first time she ever had a collar and being walked with by a leash..
Goal was to get to the stop sign at the end of the street...
Sure enough.. she was GREAT!
She is so smart.. she held part of the leash in her mouth and walked near me.. then we got to the stop sign and turned around..
THEN.......
Still having the leash in her mouth.. she ended up walking me.. she was going straight, prancing. She walked right to our house, up the driveway and to the front door..
Now that is a smart cookie..

now its morning nap 2, while mom works.. ;0)

Sunday

Well.. today we gave her her medicine, she really didn't eat much at all, she does like the little milk bone puppy bones..making an appointment at our vet tomorrow.
Mom did notice yesterday that she does have a bump on her shoulder, which we might think it could be a fatty bump.. but again.. I ask the vet to check that out too.

She has not (yet) gone potty in the house.. only outside.. she follows us around the house, and when I am working on the computer she gets me to put her up on the day bed so she can nap.. although right now she is on the floor.. she is crashed..
I can't really remember anything about Kassie when she was a puppy.. I have pictures of her around my computer.. she was a cute little pooh bear and big paws.. that is something I noticed about Bree, her paws are not that big.. maybe she is going to just be half the size of Kassie.
She ran around, frisky as can be this afternoon... and attacking the ankles..;0)
I am working on getting her used to what we normally do.. so she knows around 5 mom gets up and around 6 dad gets up..She is going to definately help Dad with yard work.. so far she stays near you.. at least she can't run that fast YET!!!!!!!!!!!..

The Fleamarket

Let me introduce you to Maya Bree Herden.
We went to the flea market just so I can get some old comic books..yes, I got some comic books and also we got a new puppy.
There, I had no idea, that they had the Humane Society there..
It will be 2 years in July, when Kassie went up to doggie heaven..She will always be my baby girl and I miss her so much..
For the past couple of months, I have been craving puppy breath.. I love puppy breath..Don and I have been in this routine for almost 2 years now.. Both of us were just working and sleeping. We hardly ever went anywhere.. Until now..
Having adopting Maya Bree, we call her Bree, has and will put so much joy, unconditional love and humor, adventure in our lives.
Bree is a mixed Shepard and lab and is 8 weeks old. She is perfect, and it was supposed to be.. she picked us.
She had a huge day yesterday.. The ride home


Looks as if she knows where she will be sitting when she gets bigger. Don has a big heart for her.
Finally we got home and of course she is pretty much nervous, and this is alot for her to take in all in one day.


She has a huge backyard and where it's shaded and she can run around as fast as she can.
Getting to know Grampa..and Daddie, just getting more attached..

We all went got into the car and went over grampa and grammies house.. where she met her uncles; Jingles and Harry..
First she was nervous and so where the boys, but that was over quick.. She fit right in..
They got Bree a little doggie bed.. I had my doubts about her sleeping in it.. but sure enough....
Don and I slept out on the pull out bed and for a little bit she slept with us but then I picked her up and put her in her bed.. She slept there all night..

So far.. She is getting used to her being called by her name
she goes outside to go potty.. (can you believe that.. 8 weeks old!)..
and she is such a ham!
